Pembroke June Event 2008 is now hiring staff for the ‘sweetest’ event this May Week. Read through the job descriptions below and fill in the form at the end, then we’ll confirm receipt and interview you for a position. Good luck!
Steward 18/06/08
This role will involve fire stewarding, checking bands and occupancy of rooms and manning the cloakrooms or entry points to the college.
Shift 1 – 9:00-1:00am
Shift 2 – 12:45-4:45am
Food and Drink 18/06/08
This role is exactly what it says on the tin! You will help with serving food and drink, mixing cocktails and pulling pints. Experience welcome but not required.

Shift 2 – 12:45-4:45am
Supervisor 18/06/08
This role is only available to Pembroke College students. You will be given a group of staff and your job is to help them with their work and ensure tasks are carried out correctly and efficiently.
Shift 1 – 9:00-1:00am
Shift 2 – 12:45-4:45am
Cleanup 19/06/08
This role will involve helping with the tidy up effort after the Event and may require physical lifting. Remuneration will be £5.50 an hour.
5:00-10:00am
Remuneration:
Shift 1: £5.50 an hour OR free entry to the Event
Shift 2: £5.50 an hour (you may not attend the Event before your shift starts)
All staff must report to a member of the Pembroke College June Event 2008 committee five minutes before the beginning of their shift (i.e. 8:55pm and 12:40am) and must be available to attend a health & safety and fire talk earlier in the day on 18/06/08.
